Plus, Vermont apples are known for their exceptional quality and taste, making them perfect for snacking, baking, or making homemade cider.

The best time to go apple picking in Vermont is typically from late August to early October. During this time, the apples are ripe and ready to be picked, and the weather is perfect for spending a day outdoors. Be sure to check with the orchard ahead of time to see what varieties of apples are available for picking and to confirm their hours of operation.
