Winter could be the most peaceful season to go for a hike and there are plenty of simple trails to enjoy in Okemo Valley. The colder temperatures and full ski slopes, mean less people out and about on the hiking trails. On top of the lack of crowds, snow is also a sound absorber, which creates an especially peaceful environment for reconnecting with nature. Depending on how deep the snow is you might need to use snowshoes, which can be rented at a few of the places listed above, or ask your neighbor to barrow some.
